Greenwich Peninsula

  • 17,000 Homes
  • 48 Acres Open Space
  • London, UK

Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan is one of London's largest regeneration projects, with plans to deliver over 17,000 new homes, 12,000 jobs and 48 acres of public open space.

Project Overview

Greenwich Peninsula Quays forms part of the wider regeneration of Greenwich Peninsula, creating a sustainable mixed-use community with new homes, commercial space, education facilities, healthcare services and leisure amenities. We initially supported our client during the PCSA stage, developing engineering solutions that progressed into a Design & Build contract for the delivery of the works.

Scope Overview

Our initial works have supported the early phases of this transformation through the delivery of key enabling and infrastructure packages including:

  • Enabling Works: Delivery of enabling works across two development plots, including cut and fill operations, obstruction removal, pile probing, pile mat construction and site hoardings.
  • Drainage & Attenuation Infrastructure: Construction of significant drainage networks and attenuation tank infrastructure to support future development phases.
  • Utility Diversions & Connections: Extensive utility diversions and the installation of new utility connections to facilitate the regeneration programme.
  • Infrastructure Diversions: Diversion and protection of infrastructure, including Tunnel Avenue above operational TfL assets. BIM modelling was used to evaluate engineering solutions, support stakeholder engagement and secure approvals for the safe delivery of the works above TfL prohibited zones.
