Scope Overview
We delivered the external drainage infrastructure and pile cap foundations for a 245m x 145m Operational Maintenance Centre (OMC). The works included the construction of six light maintenance pit roads, three heavy maintenance pit roads, a wheel lathe pit and a bogie drop pit, together with 26,000m² of ground source heat pump pipework and reinforced concrete slabs.
Our scope also incorporated reinforced concrete retaining walls, transformer and generator bases, extensive drainage networks, deep chambers, pumping infrastructure and specialist service installations. In total, the project involved the placement of approximately 23,000m³ of machine-trowelled concrete and the installation of 3,000 tonnes of reinforcement steel.
The exceptional quality of our workmanship was recognised through the award of a defect-free certification for the completed works.
