Smithfield is a landmark regeneration project that will transform Birmingham city centre, delivering new homes, Grade A workspace, independent retail, hospitality venues and vibrant public spaces.
Project Overview
We are supporting our client through the PCSA stage, developing cost-effective engineering solutions to unlock the site for future development. The project will progress into a main construction contract, under which we will deliver enabling and infrastructure works to support Phase 1 vertical construction and subsequent development phases. Works include site clearance, remediation, plot levelling, utility diversions and new service connections. Early activities have commenced with the management of archaeological investigations, with Phase 1 infrastructure works scheduled to begin in Q3 2026.
